Review construction drawings in the browser
Mark up, measure, compare revisions and run punch lists on your PDF drawing sets — on any computer or tablet, with nothing to install.
Works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPad and Android.
Why teams move their drawing review to the browser
Nothing to install or license
Open a link and start. The same drawings, markups and lists on the office PC, a Mac at home and a tablet on site.
Fast on heavy sets
A rendering engine built for dense drawings draws only what is on screen, so large sheets stay quick to open, pan and zoom.
Everyone on the same set
One current version of every drawing. Markups, punch items and RFIs are shared as they are made — no files emailed back and forth.
PDF markup for construction drawings
Everything a drawing review needs, on any computer or tablet with a browser: no install, no licence keys, and every markup saved as you draw it.
- Clouds, callouts, text, arrows, shapes, highlights and stamps with your name and date
- A markups list you can sort, filter and save views of, with statuses, assignees and replies
- Layers, groups, alignment tools, line styles and hatch patterns
- Saved tools: keep a style, subject and layer and reuse it with one click
Quantity takeoff from PDF drawings
Measure straight from the drawing set. Quantities update when a scale changes, and totals roll up by room, layer or subject.
- Calibrate from a known dimension, or set separate scales for details on the same sheet
- Length, polylength, area, perimeter, volume, count, diameter and arc measurements
- Room fill: click inside a room and its outline becomes an area
- Symbol search: box one symbol and find every one like it, then count them
Compare drawing revisions and overlay disciplines
Find every change between revisions without flipping between two windows, and lay disciplines over each other to see where they disagree.
- Compare any sheet with an older version or another document: removed in red, added in blue
- Automatic alignment for re-plotted or shifted sheets, or align by two points
- Cloud every change in one step
- Compare whole sets: sheets matched by sheet number, with a report of what changed
Punch lists, RFIs and daily reports on the drawings
Field work tied to the drawing it is about. Pin an item where the problem is, take a photo, and the right person sees it.
- Punch items, RFIs and submittals with their own workflows and numbering
- Pins on the drawings, photos (including 360° photos) and a full history
- Works offline on site and syncs when the connection is back
- Daily reports with crews, weather, work done and photos
Automatic checks for drawing sets
The tedious cross-checks a reviewer does by hand, run on the whole set in a minute.
- Sheet index against the sheets actually in the set
- References to sheets that do not exist
- Door and equipment tags missing from their schedules
- Blank or near-blank sheets
Live drawing review sessions
A review meeting without screen sharing: everyone on the same set, each at their own pace.
- Invite people to a session; guests from outside the team can join for its duration
- See who is on which sheet and where their cursor is
- Markups and replies appear for everyone as they are made
- A session report of everything that changed

Questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. Plandeck runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on Windows, Mac, Linux and tablets. On a phone or tablet you can install it from the browser like an app.
Can I bring the markups I already have?
Yes. Comments made in other PDF tools are imported as editable markups, and exports are standard PDFs that other PDF viewers can open.
Does it work without a connection on site?
Drawings you have opened stay available, and markups and field items made without signal are kept on the device and sent when the connection returns.
Which files can I open?
PDF drawing sets of any size. Scanned sets can be made searchable with text recognition.
How much does it cost?
There is a free plan to start. Paid plans are per editor — viewers are free — and every plan has every tool. See the pricing page for prices in your currency.
